The Secret Xmas show

Thanks for a tremendous year guys. On thursday we played a somewhat secret Xmas show in Stockholm as a three piece. Anders was too ill to stand and therefore MJ for the first time performed as a trio. It was lots of fun. We had dressed up in jackets worthy of Tomtarnas vaktparad. Heavy duty partying then occured. With Modfather Ekander at the turntables.

Wanna wish you all a happy christmass. We're gonna kick the new year off with a big album launch, new single and new tour. See you all in 09!

Here comes the weekend that was

I am ill. This weekend was so much fun I got myself a real sickness. I have a fever and I cough and sneeze and complain. I can't even help from complaining to you guys. Anywho, we played great shows with Razorlight in Oslo and Dirtbombs in Berlin. Sold out and everything. In Oslo we hung out with Bam Norway and planned our glorious future with the Norwegian market. And we had some laughs with the Razorlight guys. We'll probably do more together.

On the way home we stopped at Anders's dad's to see a bit of our beloved Värmland in its winter gown. Lovely. Might aswell buy a house now I thought to myself for half a second.

Well in Berlin on sunday we hung out at the magnet club and played super nintendo in the dressing room. We were happy to be granted entry to the big dressing room with the buffeé this time. When we were here in February with the Enemy we were shut out for drinking all the beers on the gig before. So a nice revenge there. Dirtbombs were cool. After a great show the party went on to the white trash and after that to one Jaqueline's apartament terminating at somewhat five in the morning. Here are some pics, Enjoy!

Ice Alert!

There's a big warning of ice all over Sweden and Norway. And it's worst on the exact road we're taking to Oslo today for the second Razorlight show. If we pull a Lynyrd Skynyrd and die on this trip I hope our legacy remains. As the band who dissappeared just after getting a proper own Tourbus with a Tv/Dvd in it. Ha ha. I am so funny. // Antonio

Last night was so much fun...

We had a blast playing with Razorlight last night. I think we did one of the best shows we've ever done in Stockholm. After the Razorlight show we ended up drinking beer with the guys, and they were all a bunch of nice lads. I will give you more details about the night when I reach the other guys and see where they ended up.

Tomorrow we are heading of to Oslo in our brand new bus with DVD!

Molotov Jive & Razorlight

We just learned that we're gonna share stage with Razorlight on Wednesday and Friday in Stockholm and Oslo. That is gonna kick serious ass. I really like them. So all you guys, get yourselves to Debaser Slussen in stockholm at 20.30 on wednesday. Lots of amore / Anton

Kägelbanan.

As you may have noticed Anders has been in the States and enjoyed guns, tasteless beer, clubs and the sun. Unfortinute we got a gig in Stockholm after he had booked the plane tickets. So the rest of us had to find a replacement for Anders. We found a a guy with a special liking for checked shirts and beard, called Andreas. After rehearsing with him a couple of times he was ready to get on stage and play some Mj-tunes. Last Friday we went to Kägelbanan to do the gig. It was a really good catering at the place with sushi, snacks and beers. We sat down and dug in to the varius things that could fill up our empty stumachs. After i while Andreas looked at us and asked if we knew if there was any Brazil Nuts in the bawl with different nuts.
-Yeah, its theese big ones, said Johnny. After that Andeas stated that he had eaten four f them and was extremely allergic to them and that he had eaten like a half Brazil Nut a couple a years ago and had to go to the Hospital that time. As the man of action Anton is he grabbed his phone and called an ambulance that arrived in minutes. Andreas was taken to the hospital by the ambulance and then there was only three men in the Molotov quartet again. We had contact with Andreas on the phone and he was fine but the nurses wanted him to stay for observation untill they where sure that he would make it. The hours went away and with only fifteen minutes to show time Andreas showed up in a cab. We gathered our selfes together and turned out all our nervous waiting-energy to a amazing-band-on-stage-energy. We did a really intensive and, may I say, releaved gig that night. Live Aids Day

MJ will perform as headliners at the Live Aids Day festival, run by the swedish red cross, tomorrow night at Kägelbanan in Stockholm. It's gonna be our introduction of our new bass player Andreas the madman. Come there! We'll mostly play stuff from the new album but maybe an old friend or two. Love / Anton

A post card from America

At the moment Im enjoying the life of an true american. Beers, burgers and football. To mention three importent ingredience. Meanwhile the boys home in cold sweden are working harder then ever. I feel a little bit sorry for them, when Im here in 25C. But I guess I will have to make it up for them when I get home.
Even if the life here is wonderful I still miss the guys, and I can't wait to get on the road again...

Back to the south

After another seven hours drive, we are back in the south. Malmö and KB is the place tonight, and also the final destination for us on this little tour. The DPT guys has been really friendly and its gonna be kind of said to end the tour with them tonight.
But I've just had a jolly good lasange and a ice cold beer. So at the moment I shouldn't complain.
Just thirty minutes to show now, gotta go.

Sleep tight.

Thank you for tonight. It feels good to sleep in your own bed after a gig. I really like that. I guess it has something with feeling safe or anything like that. Anyway, sleep tight.

Holiday at the course

Our Oslo trip got cancelled. We went out partying in Malmö instead. The next day called for some kind of atlethic activity. We steered our veichle to Örkeljunga Gk where we started hitting away at the driving range. We did that for an hour maybe. Our friend Pelle joined in by video phone as the competition grew stronger.

Tonight it's Stockholm. Home to us, no preasure. It's snowing outside. First snow of the year for me.

Oslo cancelled

Olso gig tonight has been cancelled. But the rest of the tour goes on according to plan.
Oskar is in jail for being darn good looking. Thats why.

Köpenhavn

Last nite we did our first gig of this tour. And our first time in Copenhagen. First time with Dirty Pretty Things also. We had dwelled a bit on wether they would be british gentlemen or hooligans. The first assumption was correct. Gary is probably the nicest man in Rock'n'roll. Rarely have we been treated so good by the main band when we've been supporting.

The danish crowd was nice. And quite talkative. But since their language sounds like jiddish to us we often didn't know what to respond.

The gig was great. For a first gig in quite sometime it was awsome. Our new tech Anton T is brilliant.

Afterwards we went to Malmö to drink and cause madness and ruckus.

Rise and shine!

Me and Anton just woke up in Lund. Last day was a long traveling day. We did some interviews along the road so it took a mighty long time for us to get to the southern part of Sweden. The rest of the boys spent the Night in Malmö and rumours tells me that they had a busy night with the guitarist in a certain swedish glam rock band. His name rhyming with Pettson.
In the picture you can see the possy of this trip. Anton, Anton(roadie), Oskar, Johan and Anders. Tonight we will take Copenhagen.
