Allright. Right now it's three more hours untill showtime. Some of us has got back to the hotell witch is situated in the same building as the venue we're playing at. It's quite cold here so we're happy to spend as little time outside as possible. We're giving you three pictures from the the sunny trip along the swedish east coast today. The mood in our entourage is on top so you should expect a blast tonight(witch you always should)!

Funny review

Vice magazine writes about Songs For The Fallen Apart... this is actually meant to mean they like it a lot.

Sweat! Guitars! Skinny legs! Molotov Jive is indie rock. Each track is fresh pimple puss ricocheting off the bathroom mirror, all greasy youth and angst. So what if the cookie cutter lyrics and easily digestible melodies are straight from the Britpop handbook? When the recipe guarantees at least a year of chicks and free coke off the toilet seats of skanky London clubs, can you really blame these guys for settling on average?

the leader of the pack

oh man we had a good couple of days on the road. quite a few old friends came to the malmö gig which was great. all friends are spread by the wind nowadays and it's always good to see you all. good hotels and nice food. and superb tour management by our friend mr p.noir. we are traveling in style now, at least if you compare it with the german tours we did a year ago. we're happier and playing better. the mood and spirit is always high. it's always interesting to look back in the rear view mirror and realize how everything has improved rapidly. we're setting up the last details for our new german release at the moment. I know a lot of you guys have been wondering when we'll come back. the answer to that is off course as soon as we drop the "Fallen" record there. we have a great vibe about it all.

hope to see you who live up north next weekend as we head for sundsvall. and we have some more stuff in the pipe line. and we've also started working on demos of new songs I've written. one is called fire and gold. stay tuned.

thanks! love / MJ through Anton (the leader of the pack :))

Örebro to Malmoe

Good afternoon. Right now I'm sitting at Debaser in Malmö and listens to Johans bassdrum thumping in the building. In a few minutes it's time for me to get on the stage and make a soundcheck with the rest of the boys. We where in Örebro and played a set of songs yesterday. It was good fun and we made an atempt to storm the great castle witch is situaded in the middle of town. Efter a few minutes we decided to get back to the hotell and watch NHL hockey with Oscar at out booking agency. We went up early this morning and headed to Malmö. There was quite mutch fighting and bad behaviour in the bus so when we came down here I decided to take my role as a security guard and teach the boys a lesson. As you can see on the picture below I made a pretty good job I have to say. See you tonight at Debaser Malmö!

P3 Live Session

Yesterday it was time for us to, once again, conquer "Radiohuset". This time it was "P3 Live Session" who had the big honour to have Molotov Jive as guests. The host for the evening was the vampire with the fringe aka. Markus Krunegård. Johnossi also played a couple of songs this evening. The studio we played in was not like an ordinary radio studio but more like a studio for recording of orchestras and such. So there was plenty of space for both us and the audience. On the pictures beow you can se how the stage looked like from the control room. If you managed to somehow forget that we where on the radio yesterday there is still a chance for you to listen to the program, just click here. Don't forget to comment on thir site. Thank you!//Oskar

Good morning!

I just wanted to tell you that we did something good when we were in Örebro the last time, we must have pulled off a good show because now they want us to come back. 18/2 on the way down to Malmö we´ll make a stop in Örebro and have a night at a place called Frimis. Bring a friend.

I guess some of you wonder why we have not put up more pictures from the release gig at Debaser. well, our photographer tried to put some colour on her walls and it resulted to a bad knee and delayed pictures. here are some thou! and there is more at our Myspace

Southside!

Something has happened to me. I don't know what it is, but it makes me forget a lot of things all the time. I am in Lund right now to visit the family. I took the train from Örebro on the Saturday morning to get down here. First thing I noticed after being on the train for while was that I had the car keys in my pocket. The car was in Örebro with the rest of the guys and the keys where traveling further and further away from its mother ship in my pocket. A nice conductor helped me out and made shure that the keys traveled back to Örebro. Grateful and full of new enegy I jumped off the wagon and changed train. After rolling for five minutes on the new train I realized that my red suitcase was still on the first train. Outch!
My jeans, my boots, and my leather jacket is all I'we got left from this trip. And my cellphone of course, but since the charger was is the suitcase I can't use it anyway.
Today I'm heading back to Stockholm and I will try my best not to forget any of the few possessions I still got left. Wish my good luck because I will need it!

Kära Örebroare

Students always looks the same. Somone is painted blue, the other dressed out as the purple Teletubbie... It was the first time to play in Örebro, we had much to proove since Örebo and Karlstad has been rivals eversince Örebro got Ikea before us... BASTARDS!

However it turned out to be a great night with loads of people who really seemed to enjoy. I bed we will come back.

Oskar nowdays called "I forget everything i own"
